    Leeds 4 - 14 Halifax

    A top performance from everybody yesterday fired us firmly to the top of the tree.

    We rode our luck at times but all in all took our chances very well indeed at times.

    Racing into an 8-1 half time lead left the skipper with a tough call. With two substitutes waiting in the wings it mean't a winner would have to be rested to allow them the opportunity. Rather unluckily that man was Rash and full credit to him for not letting his frustration get the better off him, continuing to support the lads and keeping his cue intact in the process :-D

    Well done fellas, bring on the yarmuff qualifier!

    YEP. Absolute top performance from ALL the Halifax Boy's cheers .
    8-1 affraid half time lead may-be didn't reflect the game but I take NOTHING away from the attitude you all gave & took those chances with both hands & delivered.
    Another GREAT Man Of Match performance from James Ormrod but was Just pipped by (our last 16 Blue Dolphin singles) Like a Star @ heaven TONY drunken SMITH Like a Star @ heaven . Pulled out a top notch 7 ball clearance when his back was against the wall, then 2nd game pulled out a great shot on the black ball & that deservedly
    gave him THE MAN OF THE MATCH.
